Brentano and the Aristotelian Tradition. An International Journal

is a bi-annual review, created in March 2021. The journal welcomes scholarly Articles, Notes, Bookreviews previously unpublished, in the following areas:
Anthropology, Art, Ethics, History, Law, Literature, Logic, Metaphysik, Philosophy, Politics, Social sciences, Religion.
The format is online, a non-profit and electronic publishing venture, Open Access.
It does not charge readers or their institutions for access, it does not charge authors for the submission and publications of their contributions, and the reviewers co-operate on a voluntary basis. All users have the right to “read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of these articles” but the acknowledgement and quotation of authors and papers are mandatory: Brentano and the Aristotelian Tradition. An International Journal allows third parties to download its works as long as it is credited as the source, but these articles cannot be changed in any way or used commercially (CC BY-NC-ND).

- Book review:
seek to accomplish three key tasks:
presentation of the structure and content of the work; emphasis of some peculiarities of the work in relation to the theme exposed judgment sufficiently detailed on the value of the work (1000 to 5.000 words, spaces included).
- Notes:
short articles that study and critically discuss one or more books recently published, of particular importance for the Journal (approx. 10.000 words max, spaces included).
Documents must be sent in attachment, in Word (*.doc or *.docx) and PdF format. Authors who send in a manuscript commit to withholding from submitting the same text to any other publication for as long as they are in connection with the Journal. In case of withdrawal of a manuscript, authors must inform the review as soon as possible. The contents of published articles are exclusively the responsibility of the authors.

Manuscripts must be prepared for anonymous refereeing. Submitted articles will be sent for anonymous evaluation to two readers. The readers will give separate evaluations. The copy they receive does not bear the author’s identity, and authors cannot ask to be informed of the identity of their readers.
Reviewers’ comments are confidential and before passing on to the author they will be made anonymous. The names of the reviewers remain strictly confidential; their identity will only be known by the Editors. The Editors do not have the authority to influence the reviewers who are conducting the blind review of the articles submitted for peer review.
Authors should ensure that they have written entirely original works, and if the authors have used the work and /or work of others, this must be appropriately cited or quoted.
Authors must send, in a separate file complete contact information: email address, phone number; titles and/or profession, name of their research institution (university, research center); an abstract of about 150 words in English; five keywords in English.
After the readers have given their evaluation, the authors will be informed as soon as possible. Rejected texts will not be saved or returned. The articles must not exceed 30,000 words and blanks, notes, bibliography included. Notes and bibliographical references must be inserted at the end of the text.
